I love the look of your site and the use of phpBB.
Could you recommend a "bridge" plugin that I coudl use to integrate phpBB and wordpress on my site?
Thanks!

There is one Plugin that gives you this option. It's called WP-United.
http://www.wp-united.com/

By the time I tired it, the Plugin was still in Beta and it didn't quite work well for me back then. I have no idea how things are today. But you might check out their website. What I did is theme my phpbb to fit the WP site and I think that's what Dave did here as well.

Let me know if you give WP-United a try and what you think of it, how it worked for you.

We actually didn't use any plugins at all, though we probably could have. WP-United is apparently quite buggy, so we actually just made a PHPBB theme that looks EXACTLY like the WordCast main WordPress theme! :P

The homepage's sidebar widget is a phpBB Recent Posts plugin, there are a lot out there. Not sure which one specifically is running.

I don't wanna anybody to move away from phpbb but if you're already using WP you should consider switching your forums to bbPress as it integrates super easy with WP 3.0 and the BP Plugin. And I think that we see the single version of bbPress being a "Core Plugin" rather sooner than later.

Definitely something we hope to do at some point. We went to phpBB just because bbPress is so feature-limited at this point. It felt quite guerilla running a forum with all the features we were after via 20 plugins :P
