Drupal 7.0 RC 3 was released December 27 and is set to be the last release before the final stable release of Drupal 7, scheduled for January 5, 2011, with about 170 Drupal launch parties on January 7 in 72 countries.

As we reported in “What’s New in Drupal 7″, there is a lot to be excited about with Drupal 7, including plenty of new features that makes Drupal a serious CMS contender again.
