It’s the very first episode of Plugin Picks, the newest show on the WordCast Network. Join Kym and Dave every Monday and Wednesday as they bring cool new WordPress plugins to your attention.

To kick things off, we’re talking about the Audio Player WordPress plugin, which allows you to easily embed a flash player for music or any other kind of audio on your WordPress site.

    How can I listen on my iPhone?

    Are there any alternative non-Flash audio players?
  • John, as far as I know there aren't any embeddable audio players that aren't flash (save for the embedded Quicktime and Windows Media players from back in 1998).

    If you find anything, let us know. At this point, the only option to get to podcasts on the iPhone is to directly link to the file or get to it through the iTunes store :)
